The Czech Standardization Agency was established as a state contributory organization by the Czech Office for Standards, Metrology and Testing (UNMZ) pursuant to Act No. 265/2017 Coll., Amending Act No. 90/2016 Coll. their supply to the market, and Act No. 22/1997 Coll., on technical requirements for products and on amendments and supplements to certain acts, as amended.
Since 1 January 2018, the Czech Standardization Agency has taken over all activities related to the development, issue and distribution of technical standards from the UNMZ.
